We are storytellers. We focus on building bridges for communities we support to reach and fund trustworthy charities.
How is The Waterjars funded?
Although initially funded using the profit from property projects run by the Waterjars founders, nowadays donors joining The Waterjars movement comes from all walks of life, setting aside their own monies to give to registered charities and be “waterjars” themselves
How does The Waterjars find the communities it supports?
Trust is the main factor for our team. We find communities from the connections we have around us, with charities and not-for-profit organisations. We like to start from people we know and build relationships with the people they connect us to.
Where are these communities based?
The Waterjars supports communities and projects in different countries. We share stories of projects in Indonesia and Australia. The Waterjars is interested in projects happening around the world.
